One way I use peppermint oil is I put a few drops on a cotton ball and throw it at the bottom of the trash can at home. So the trashcan will be kinda disinfected and it'll smell good whenever we open it.

Peppermint and lavender are both versatile oils. I prefer peppermint though because of its minty scent. Lavender is floral which I don't really like. I use peppermint basically for anything. I dilute it in jojoba oil, which doesnt have any scent and is easily absorbed by the skin. I can rub it on my temples when I have a headache, I can rub it on my wrist and smell it when I'm anxious, on my belly when I'm nauseous, on my pimples, on bug bites. There's really a long list.
